Internet BAD!

So, apologies for not updating. There's currently no internet in my flat or in my office, and the sum total for work for two separate IT people over the course of FIVE DAYS has not yet solved that issue in either location. I'm sitting in a stairwell borrowing a signal from another flat.

I'll spare you any quips about the British once controlling a large portion of the world.

Anyway, the two posts below I wrote offline, so there's a little bit of what I've been up to. We're off on our overnight trip to York tomorrow morning, so I'll have the first pictures up (provided I can log on) early next week!
